Pastor Krause grew up in Texas, participating in both Boy Scouts and gymnastics. He graduated from Concordia University in Austin and, later, from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He served churches in Utah and Nebraska before accepting the call in late 2022 to serve at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Richfield, Minnesota.
